Designing my web folio

Have a number of ideas for my website. DO I go for Dreamweaver or Flash, colourful and busy with a big cool illustration for the background like n design studio [link] (check Nick La's work out its class!) or a cool minimal less is more kind of thing like studio mikmik [link]. Help me decide!
